The Week from Saturday 31st May 2025

Clergy Thought: This last Thursday we celebrated the Feast of the Ascension. Today we celebrate the 7th Sunday of Easter. The Readings focuses on unity, love, and faith, and highlight the steadfastness of Stephen, the promises of Jesus, and the prayer for unity among believers. Early Christians gathered together, supported each other, and shared their resources. This sense of community is crucial for us today. We are called to be part of a faith community where we can grow in our relationship with God and support each other in our spiritual journey. As the people of God redeemed by the blood of Jesus, we have been made preachers, teachers and prophets unto the world. This empowerment started right from the day of our baptism. May our lives be positively changed through the coming of the Holy Spirit to make the world a better place. Amen.  Fr Alex
